Built to solve a problem I kept hearing about
During my student years, I had the chance to speak with hundreds of students from all over the world who were looking for housing in a new city. The same frustration came up again and again — they'd find a promising apartment, get invited to a viewing, and then lose it simply because they couldn't be there in person. Not enough time, wrong country, wrong timezone.
I built Viewinger because that problem deserved a real solution. The idea is simple: connect people who need eyes on a property with trusted locals who are already there. Buyers stop missing opportunities. Viewers earn from their time and local knowledge. Everyone wins.
As far as I know, there's nothing else like this in the world right now. We're just getting started — and I'm excited to build it with the right people around it.

Viewinger is a platform connecting remote people with trusted local viewers who attend viewings on their behalf and deliver structured photo and video reports based on the mission requirements. As we are from the Netherlands, we started first here, but the platform can be used in any country.
Easiest will be to first create an account, and then use the Post a Mission button. When on that page, simply add the necessary details for your situation, and hit submit.
Yes. Every viewer is personally reviewed before being approved. We select based on reliability, local knowledge, seriousness and attention to detail. You can apply through the short form on this page — not everyone gets in, and that's intentional.
When you accept a viewer, payment is held in escrow. A 10% service fee is added on top of the viewer's proposed price. Once you confirm the submitted proof report, funds are released to the viewer. If something isn't right, you can raise a dispute before releasing anything.
Yes. Every account can switch between buyer and viewer mode at any time from the dashboard. Post a mission when you need a viewing done, or apply for viewer access to start taking on jobs — it's the same account, no separate sign-up needed.
We are currently focused on the Netherlands, so response times in Dutch cities are fastest. Most missions in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Utrecht see applications within a few hours of posting. You stay in control — review, message, and accept whenever you're ready.
Yes. Every applicant has a built-in message thread directly on the mission page. Ask questions, share extra context, or just get a feel for the person — all before you commit to accepting and paying.
If a viewer cancels, your escrow payment is refunded in full — you are never charged for a cancelled mission. You can then re-open the mission and accept another applicant. If a submitted report doesn't meet the agreed deliverables, you can raise a dispute before confirming payment, and we'll review the case.
